Along with holding a position as Chief of Southeast Region, Brian Mitchell is also an Adjunct Assistant Professor for the University of Vermont Rubenstein School of Environment & Natural Resources. Mitchell’s position in the National Park Service initially involved coordinating biological inventory and monitoring efforts for the Northeast Temperate Network, where he was based in Woodstock, Vermont.
The Conservation Seminar Series exposes students to multiple aspects o the field of conservation through inspiring speakers from many different disciplines. The one-hour seminar is followed by a 30-minute question and answer discussion period. Seminars are free and open to all.
